Premium Anti-Fungal Sealant

Bath & Tile Silicone is a premium sanitary-grade silicone, ideal for household and professional applications. This 100% silicone, waterproof sealant is perfect for wet, humid areas such as
sinks, tubs, showers, countertops, and backsplashes. It contains a powerful fungicide that inhibits mold growth for up to 10 years. Meets ASTM C920, Type S, Grade NS, Use NT, G, A, O. Class 25. Exterior/Interior.

Typical Uses: For waterproofing joints between ceramic tiles, bathtubs, sinks, showers, backsplashes, and counters. Can also be used for bedding sinks into kitchen tops and vanity units and for sealing shower trays and shower units. Good adhesion to glass, melamine, laminates, sanitary plastics, anodized aluminum, lacquered metals, painted wood, painted plaster, primed or painted concrete and primed metals, granite, and marble.

Instructions: Surfaces must be clean, dry, and dust/grease free. When sealing deep joints, use foam backer rods to minimize wastage. Prime porous materials prior to use. Cut the tip of the cartridge without damaging the threaded area. Screw on nozzle and cut at an angle of 45° to an opening slightly larger than the gap to be sealed. Apply using a standard caulking gun and tool down using the appropriate tool. This silicone will stretch up to 25% - ensure there is enough sealant in the
joint to flex for expected movement. After use, clean tools with mineral spirits before product dries.

Limitations: Not suitable for use in aquariums or on bitumen, asphalt, or tar surfaces. Painting is not recommended. When sealing metal trim, test for discoloration prior to application. Apply at temperatures above 41°F (5°C) and below 86°F (30°C).

Storage: Store in cool, dry conditions, at a temperature between 41°F (5°C) and 77°F (25°C). Use within 24 months from date of manufacture.
